I am a media scholar and practitioner based in New York City.
I am recent graduate of the a M.A. Media, Culture, and Communication program at New York University's Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development. I studied Media Industries and Politics + Global Media and my thesis examined neoliberalism and motherhood in U.S. news media framing of professional female athletes. My research interests include U.S. news, education and health policies, social stratification, and gender. 
I was a graduate assistant for the College of Arts and Science at NYU where I worked with the College Core Curriculum to serve undergraduate students and their foundational core studies for liberal arts. I have career experience as an integrated marketing strategist at an advertising agency and a layout designer for newspapers and magazines.
I received a B.A. Advertising & Political Science (Honors) from the University of Oregon. I earned a certificate in Politics, Law, and Justice, as well as Summa Cum Laude, Kappa Tau Alpha, and Political Science Departmental honors. My undergraduate thesis examined the impact of federal court intervention on disability education policy implementation in the United States.
